This is a 1965 Land Rover Series IIA 109 with under 16, 000 original miles, in pristine condition for her age and it
shows inside and out. Mechanically she is sound. She is a joy to drive and might be the lowest mileage 1965 Series
IIA 109 in existence.We have a history file that goes with the purchase. The following restoration work was
completed. Painted the following; 1) The sides, roof area and luggage rack in Alpine white. 2) All door frames. 3)
The underside of the hood. 4) Wet sanded & polished the Pastel Green. 5) Partially painted some of the interior
parts, seat frames, door & seat handles, shift post, brake handle and steering post. 6) New interior including the
door panels, side panels, seats and headliner. 7) New carpeting with snaps. 8) New rear glass mirror (original
frame). 9) New side mirrors left & right. 10) All window tracks replaced. 11) New door seals. 12) New cedar luggage
boards. 13) New side steps. 14) All 6 steel wheels restored. We had our mechanical shop go through and performed a
complete inspection and safety check and did the following; 1) Rebuilt the carburetor. 2) Rebuilt the starter. 3)
Replaced the exhaust system from the manifold back. 4) Radiator boil & refinish. 5) New belt. 6) New shocks front &
rear. 7)New starter switch. 8) Repair horn. 9) Replace wipers. 10) Replace all fluids. 11) New plugs & wires. 12) 6
new tires. She is ready to go !!!.
